What You’re Walking Into When You Book With Me
I didn’t grow up dreaming of being a photographer.
I grew up in Southern churches, where fire and brimstone poured from pulpits and saving souls meant shouting truth into darkness. But now I’ve got a different altar.
A camera in hand. A studio cloaked in shadow and silence.
And this… this is still a kind of ministry.
You won’t find me peddling perfection.
I’m not here to drape you in rhinestones or tuck you into pretty corners of Pinterest poses.
This is the kind of photography that splits you open—just enough—for the light to get in.
I’m the tattooed preacher of skin and shadow, the kind they wouldn’t let behind the pulpit, but couldn’t keep out of the sanctuary.
This is the revival you didn’t know you needed.
You’ll step in thinking it’s about pictures.
You’ll leave with proof that you are holy, wild, worthy.
Not because I said so, but because the images will preach it back to you in a language only your bones can hear.
I photograph the women who’ve been told to shrink.
The ones who were made to believe their power had an expiration date.
The ones who’ve been too much, or not enough, or just… invisible.
And I don’t just take pictures of you. I pull you through a storm and show you who survives on the other side.
Your scars. Your stretch marks. Your silence.
None of it disqualifies you.
If anything, it’s what makes you sacred.
I don’t ask you to pretend. I ask you to trust.
Because when we strip everything else away—every should, every mask, every ache—you don’t need to be made beautiful.
You already are.
So if you’re coming to me, know this:
You’re not stepping into a photo session.
You’re stepping into a reckoning.
And I’ll be there, calling you out of the darkness.
Not to shame you, but to show you who you’ve always been
A body worthy of light.
A spirit strong enough to rise.
Welcome to my ministry.
